How to Create a New Custom Field

  1. From the side navigation bar, click on the “Create” tab.
  2. Type your Custom Field Name.
  3. Type Custom Field Value.
  4. “Categories”
    • You can choose one of the categories from the dropdown menu to create a custom field for each product under the selected category.
    • Or,  you can select your products instead. You can search for your product by name, description, SKU, or brand name, and you can select multiple products in this field to create bulk.
  5. Click on the “Create” button to proceed to the Dashboard.
  6. You can see your custom fields in the “Custom Field Reports” tab on the side navigation bar.
  7. To create filters:
    • On the BC Admin Panel in the left side navigation bar, click on the “Product Filtering” tab.
    • Mark the custom fields you’ve created.
    • Click on the “Save” button.

How to Edit a Custom Field

  1. From the side navigation bar, click on the “Edit” tab.
  2. Find the product from the list or search by product name or SKU from the search bar.
  3. Click on the “Edit” button for the related product.
  4. Fill in the Custom Field Name and Custom Field Value sections.
  5. Click on the “Submit” button.

Please note: each section must be completed.

What is Rollback?

With the Rollback function, you can undo your created custom fields.

How to Rollback a Custom Field

  1. From the side navigation bar, click on the “Rollback” tab.
  2. Find the product from the list or search by Custom Field Name or Custom Field Value from the search bar.
  3. Click on the “View” button for the related product.
  4. Click on the “Rollback” button.

How to Export Custom Fields

  1. From the side navigation bar, click on the “Export” tab.
  2. Click on the “Export” button again.

You will be notified by email when the export is ready for download. When the export file is displayed on this page, you can click to download it.

How to Import Custom Fields

  1. From the side navigation bar, click on the “Import” tab.
  2. On the following page, click on the “Choose” button.
  3. Choose your file from your computer.
  4. Click on the “Import” button.

If you need templates, there are CSV and XLSX file templates with instructions on the page.

Where Can I See Created Custom Fields?

You can see the created custom fields from the “Custom Field Reports” tab in the side navigation bar.

Where Can I See the Custom Field Details?

To see the details of the custom fields:

  1. Go to “Custom Field Reports” in the side navigation bar.
  2. Click on the “Detail” button for the related custom field.
  3. You will land on the Custom Field Detail page.
    • If you would like to jump to the product edit page on BC Admin Panel, click on the link button for the related product.
