His career kicked off as an editor at NTV Sport in 2008 for about eight years. In 2016 Ilker won an assistantship scholarship from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and made the decision to move to the United States. He attended the Communications Master’s program for about one year in Arkansas and later returned to Turkey in 2017.
Ilker then began working as a Digital Communications Manager for Puzzle Travel Company in 2018. After two and a half years, he moved to a different position at Tiga Information Technologies as a Digital Marketing Manager for four months and soon enough he joined the Optimum7 team in August 2021.
